Charleston Style
Charleston was amazing for so many reasons, but the food was definitely one of our favorite parts. Our days began revolving around the meals we were having, and our most well though out decisions involved food. Each restaurant was so unique; however, they all had the same purpose: to reward it's guests for walking all over the entire city. Charleston is an extremely walkable city, and were quite confident that we walked well over our Fit Bit step goals. We often brought this up to one another (primarily to justify our heavy eating).
Some of our favorites are listed below:
1. Zero - the most interesting menu and cozy atmosphere (picture A - yes, those are mozzarella balloons)
2. Minero - incredible taco lunch spot (picture B)
3. The Macintosh - meaty goodness with divine sides (picture C)
4. Glazed - gourmet donuts (picture D - and yes, they serve gluten free)
5. True - bomb pizza on the way out of town (picture E)
6. Jeni's - fun and different ice cream flavors
7. Henry's - banging rooftop
8. Magnolia's - holy shrimp & grits
9. Butcher & the Bee - farm to table brunch
