Windi
My poor baby struggled with gas pains and constipation for the first part of her life, and it caused her to grunt and strain as she tried to get it out of her system. The Windi saved us when her belly was so tight we thought it might pop. You just stick the tip of the tube in your baby’s bottom, and their gas and/or bowel movement slips out of the other end. We advise putting up a diaper shield 😊
Kyte Baby Ring Sling
This is my go-to product when I need to use my arms but also snuggle Kessler. I put her in it when I am cleaning the house, walking through the mall, and this summer she sat in it while we walked the beach. It also blocks out germs when you are in public places which lets me get out of the house more confidently. This sling lets you to customize the latch to fit your baby, and the linen fabric is lightwight and keeps the sling in tact. You can even loosen the straps and nurse in it! I take it with me everywhere!
Alcohol Strips
You are finally free to enjoy a glass of wine after 9 months, but nursing can seem like a tease. There are so many different rules of thumb when it comes to drinking while nursing, so it was hard for me to differentiate when I should or shouldn’t pump and dump. I found these strips that you dip into your milk to tell you if it is safe for the baby or not. It eliminated stress, and gave me comfort knowing that I wasn’t giving Kessler anything that would be harmful to her.
